Condell's Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation program focuses on the prevention and treatment of physical problems such as: poor balance and posture, weakness, stiffness and shuffling walking pattern. After a physician ordered comprehensive evaluation is completed, a tailored therapy program is developed to meet your individual needs and goals for therapy.
Our physical therapists are graduates of accredited college programs receiving a bachelor or master's degree in physical therapy. They are trained to evaluate and treat a variety of disorders, and continually seek to expand their knowledge on the most current treatments through ongoing in-service training and continuing education courses. Treatment is aimed at guiding patients through the rehabilitation process with the end goal of independence and return to maximum function. You will receive the most out of your physical therapy sessions by working with and following your therapist's instructions. Physical therapy is a team effort between you and your therapist. The more you put in, the more you will get out!
Though hours may vary, facilities are open Monday through Friday. For further information, please contact us at (847) 990-5782 for Libertyville or (847) 855-2890 for Gurnee.
This class is taught by our physical therapist at Centre Club in Libertyville. We offer a beginning class and an advanced class, both of which are four weeks in length.
The exercises performed in this class will improve the muscle coordination needed to produce postural control by strengthening specific neck, scapular, and trunk and lower body musculature. Patients are seen for an evaluation and are taught beginning exercises by a therapist before entering class. Postural and body mechanics instruction is included in the class to prove carry over to daily life.
For more information or a class schedule, call (847) 990-5792.
Centre Club offers several opportunities for water exercise. You can see the current class schedule on our Group Exercise schedule page.
Our balance services include a comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with balance problems such as unsteadiness while walking and frequent falls. We can also help people suffering from vestibular disorders such as vertigo.
After being referred to us by your physician, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation followed by appropriate treatment to address deficits and to improve safety.
